Small signs I’m living my Blockbuster Life

I know I’m creating my Blockbuster Life when I look around me and see the upgrades (or sexy little extras of the ripple effect) I’ve made in my life.

And I’m not talking flash cars, designer wardrobes or private jets.

I’m talking about the small things I once aspired to; the spice rack full of Barts spices, a cupboard full of Le Creuset mugs, the carefully cultivated subscriptions that save me time and bring me joy such as my favourite hand-cream, natural home cleaning products that smell divine and don’t give me an allergic reaction, National Theatre at Home enabling me to watch incredible performances regularly without trekking into London unless I choose to, and ‘posh’ toilet paper with each roll individually wrapped. All regularly delivered to my door (or inbox) as often as I need them.

And then I realise the other upgrades that have come from creating my Blockbuster Life; not rushing to the reduced section of the supermarket for bargains to freeze (although I still love a bargain and will definitely grab one if I see one I want),  getting my hair done as often as I choose instead of just annually and doing it at home every other time, and a regular cleaner whom I adore and is my absolute godsend.

But perhaps one of the biggest sexy little extras of the ripple effect is the increase in my confidence.  It means I make better choices; I exercise regularly, eat healthily, drink almost next to no alcohol, and sleep better.

Stepping out of the Wings into the Spotlight and Creating your Blockbuster Life doesn’t have to be a major production unless you want it to be.

Becoming the leading lady in your own Blockbuster Life is about choices, and choosing what’s right for you, when it’s right for you.
