When you’re creating your Blockbuster Life, it can sometimes feel like you’re losing your identity.
As you peel back layer upon layer of patterns, beliefs, and behaviours that no longer support the woman you’re becoming, or the life you’re choosing, it’s easy to think you’ve somehow lost yourself along the way.
I know that feeling well. Because I’ve been there.
Looking back now, I can see my own metamorphosis so clearly. Much of it is documented across my social media over the years, and when I watch some of that content back, I can also see the mask I was wearing for much of my life.
Mr M can always tell when I’m masking. In his words: “You’ve lost your sparkle.”
When he first said that to me (shortly after we reunited after 15 years apart) I didn’t really understand what he meant. But over the past 13 years, as I’ve doubled down on truly understanding myself, invested in therapy and support, and deepened my learning around human behaviour alongside decades of personal development I came to recognise exactly what he was seeing.
And the women who come to work with me?
They’re often the women who’ve “lost their sparkle” too.
Getting to a place where you feel safe enough to remove the mask and allow that sparkle to shine through again takes courage. And commitment. And yes, hard work. This isn’t the easy path.
This weekend, while doing some research, I found myself revisiting old social media videos. At the time, I genuinely believed I was sparkling, and in many ways, I was. There’s plenty of evidence of confidence, energy, and presence.
But there’s also clear evidence of just how much I was still hiding Behind the Mask.
That’s exactly why my programme carries that name.
It’s borne from lived experience, supported by deep learning and professional training.
Creating your Blockbuster Life takes real strength and real courage.
And when you’re ready, truly ready, to reclaim your sparkle and let yourself dazzle again…
I’m here.
